You can touch down in a flat flare at Blue Donut...

Flaring using Angle of Attack is flat versus pulling the stick back and running out of elevator, if you are hearing the stall horn then get ready for a firmer landing.  When done at Blue Donut, it is a gentle, low sink rate and easy on the tires.  Why?  Because as soon as you start hearing the stall horn, the drag curve steepens dramatically and your sink rate deepens and you land like a pancake.
